CreativeNotes Desktop Edition

If you organize your tasks and ideas in a logical order, you will become more efficient at anything, from complex projects to shopping for groceries. It is sufficient to write down your notes in a simple Notepad document, but a more effective way is to use CreativeNotes Desktop Edition. It allows you to categorize and color code your notes, create To-do lists and more. The software places various customization options at your disposal, so you can make your notes easier to manage.

CreativeNotes Desktop Edition works on Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. A Pocket PC edition is available as well, which you can use to manage your thoughts or tasks when you are on a trip. The PC version can be installed in a matter of seconds, without any difficulties and it does not use too many resources.

The software's interface consists of two panels, with their own toolbars and top menus. Notes can be created, sorted and filtered on the left panel and you can edit a selected note on the right panel. CreativeNotes Desktop Edition is quite flexible when it comes to editing notes. The first line is reserved for the note's title. To create a new task or other items, you just need to go to the next line, by hitting the Enter key.

Bullets are created automatically for each item and you can change their color. You can also change the text and background colors, add time stamps and assign check boxes to individual items. It is also possible to create web links and attach text fragments. While editing an item, you can turn it into a child of the previous item, just by clicking an arrow icon, located on a toolbar, or by hitting the Tab key. Furthermore, assigning one or more children to an item will create a collapsible structure. You can hide all children right away, just by clicking the parent item's bullet.

When you are done organizing your tasks and ideas, you can print your notes or export them in TXT or HTML format. If a note contains sensitive information, you can password protect that note right away. All you have to do is type and retype a password, on a separate window.
